I am the Associate Editor and Director of Business Development at Active Living Magazine the Adapted Lifestyle Resource Guide.  I do a lot of traveling, trade shows, that sort of thing.. and I also still get to do a bit of writing.

There's LOADS more to come on that topic - all very exciting and wonderful that includes some new websites, some new features and lots and lots of fun things.

NEWSFLASH - An award winning writer I know, Dylan Brody, has written a screenplay he wants to make independently.  It has a really good role in it for me and he's already invited me to participate.  So if any of you want to help me get rich and famous or just want to invest in a terrific, artsy independent movie, let me know and I'll put you in touch with him.

When I'm not writing, I ski, camp, fish, kayak and pretty much everything there is to do here in the Flathead Valley.

I ski at the Big Mountain Resort in Whitefish, usually from the Alpineglow parking lot.  Last year I was 398 in the Big Vertical.. this year, the plan is for the top 250.

We've got a cool new wheelchair bus this year so watch for it, since we'll have some goodies from our sponsors to give away. If you see me or Chris or anyone else in our crowd on the mountian, be sure to come up and say hi!

Being warped, I LOVE oddball humor, Owen Wilson is a god and I'd pray to him if he'd show me his tan lines.. sigh.. Kung Pow, Zoolander and Metropolis are my favorite movies, and my all time favorite thing to do is add to my Tasty Treat collection.  I HIGHLY recommend it as a passtime for anyone.

I love to cook and I've started putting my recipes online in the Kitchen area.   Apparently, cooking is in my blood.   My great Aunt (my paternal grandmothers sister) was Mildred Miller, who was a tv cook in the 1950's so maybe it's something you're born with ;)

In my spare time I run BLAST, a sports marketing and scholarship program promoting and providing funding for integrated sports, recreation and leisure for people with disabilities in our area.

It pays for things like racing wheelchairs, monoskis, waterskis, CPR classes and other things.

Oh, and I do it from a wheelchair because I'm a double above knee amputee, which I guess to some people is kind of interesting, but to me it's just the way it's always been and oddly enough, the resulting circumstances have left me in a very unique position.

I have the opportunities, the abilities and the time to make a positive change.  If you're interested in what I do, or maybe even participating yourself, come on in here :).
